In the back of the car, I can't take my eyes off of Bittle. I'm excited, and a little nervous, but mostly I'm concerned with how he's feeling. I never let go of his hand, and smile warmly at him when he greets the dogs. I crowd in behind him and kiss the side of his neck before stepping away to grab the leashes.
"I'm going to take them out before, so we can-- not be interrupted for the rest of the night," I tell him, cheeks flushing pink as I give him a shy smile. "I'll meet you in the bedroom in a few minutes?"
